Austin, Texas Casting Call- ‘That’s What I’m Talking About’ Casting Call for college students in Austin, Texas.

Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to work on an upcoming feature film, ‘That’s What I’m Talking About‘ directed by Richard Linklater.

Producers are looking for men and women to play college students. In addition, casting directors are looking for male talents that have long shaggy hair past their ears. 

Wardrobe fittings are scheduled for either Thursday, October 9th or Friday, October 10th. Filming will take place on Saturday, October 11th.

‘That’s What I’m Talking About’ Casting Call

According to reports the new movie will be a movie about college freshmen called That’s What I’m Talking About, which is supposed to be semi-autobiographical and in the same tone as Dazed and Confused.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) for work on SATURDAY 10/11/14.

–we would ALSO need you to come in for a Wardrobe FITTING on either THURSDAY10/9/14 -or- FRIDAY 10/10/14 some time between 10:00am – 12:00pm at our Austin office.

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. Wardrobe Fitting will be paid at 1/4 of a day rate ($16.00). You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

We do NOT yet have Call Times so you would need to be available ALL DAY. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! .

FILMING Location will be in SAN MARCOS, TX.

*EXTRAS*: 
COLLEGE STUDENTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-25, variety of types – however ALL male students should have shaggy hair that at least covers your ears. Will also be choosing some cute Co-Ed/Sorority Girls from this group of Students.

MUST also have a recently updated (within the past 2 months) talent profile in the OLC database! Your photo MUST be good quality, facing forward, NO sunglasses and you must be the only person in your picture!! —PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH DATE (Thursday 10/9/14 or Friday 10/10/14 is better for a Fitting. We will slot you into an available time. If your first choice is full, please let us know if you are able to make the alternate date)
