Jeff Daniels is already interested in making a ‘Dumb and Dumber 3’ movie
During the premiere for the long-awaited Dumb and Dumber sequel, Dumb and Dumber To, the stars of the movie, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels arrived in style. According to Variety, Jeff Daniels revealed that they are interested in releasing another sequel, and producing a Dumb and Dumber trilogy.
“Depending how this does, I could see doing another,” Farrelly said. “I just really enjoy this movie and working with those guys. Yeah, I could see doing it again.”
He’s not the only one on board.
“I love the Farrellys, I love Jim,” Daniels said. “There’s great value in making people laugh 20 years ago and I hope now. And (if) you get to do it again, you get to do it again.” (Via Variety)
The sequel to Dumb and Dumber 2 may not happen for another 20 years and it will solely depend upon how well ‘Dumb and Dumber To‘ does in the box office and according to recent reviews, the sequel maybe a major let down for Dumb and Dumber fans.
According to /r/Movies, a fan of the original movie was also in attendance of the Dumb and Dumber To premiere and he had harsh words for the upcoming sequel.
If you loved the original (as I did), don’t see this movie.
Just. Don’t. It’s bad.
Seriously, if you don’t want your perception of the source material forever tainted, then this is another one to log under the “movies that never happened” file, along with The Last Airbender and DBZ. Honestly wish I hadn’t seen it, and thought I’d save you all the trouble. Still love the original, but, oh boy – nearly walked out on this one.
