Richmond, – AMC's ‘TURN: Washington's Spies' is now casting speaking roles for episode 3.

AMC's TURN: WASHINGTON'S SPIES is in the Central Virginia area, and Castingis seeking who look authentically from the Revolutionary War period for speaking roles. TURN is adapted from the nonfiction book Washington's Spies by Alexander Rose. The story is centered on a band of young soldiers and civilians who were part of the secret spy ring during the Revolutionary War.

All principal (speaking) roles are either local hires (within 60 miles of Richmond, VA) or modified local hires (within 500 miles of Richmond, VA). In general, modified local hire means mileage reimbursement, lodging provided and per diem on work days only.

Seeking the following speaking roles for episode 203:

AMC-Turn-auditions

[MONK] Male, 30s – 40s, Caucasian. An intense patriot who is held prisoner in New York.  Should have a clear singing/chanting voice.  Goes by the nickname “Monk”(not an actual Monk) and is a leader within the prison population. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]

[GARETH] Male, 20s – 30s, Caucasian. A gaunt, patriot prisoner who is desperate do anything to earn his release. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]

[LAWRENCE WASHINGTON] Male, 34, Caucasian. The tall, dark-haired, dark-eyed elder brother of George Washington who was a soldier and well respected figure in colonial Virginia before his at the age of 34. His confidence and regal demeanor set an aporational example for his brother. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]

[YOUNG WASHINGTON] Male, tall, 20, Caucasian. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]

[SOLDIER 1, 2, & 3] Male, 20s – 30s, Caucasian. A trio of winter worn soldiers in the Continental Army. Their accents should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]

[POST RIDER] Male, 30s – 40s, Caucasian. A brazen messenger for the Continental army who is used to riding far distances alone. His accent should have a British flavor to it, somewhere between an English and an American accent, reminding us that the colonies were still very tied to England and that these families had only been here for a few generations. [CO-STAR]
