Bolden Movie casting call for new talent in Wilmington, North Carolina.
‘Bolden’ is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. ‘Bolden’ centers on a mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans. According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle Haley, Omari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.
Casting directors are looking for extras to work on a dance club scene set in the early 1900s. Producers are looking for African American women ages 18 to mid 20s and talent that lives in the Wilmington, North Carolina area.

BOLDEN: We’re ready to book some new faces!
On Jan 20, 21, and 22nd we’ll be filming a dance club scene from the early 1900s. Some of you have already been fitted for this scene. We also need some new faces. If you fit the following description, and are available the above mentioned dates, AND can attend a fitting with us this Tuesday, Jan 6th, please follow the instructions for submitting for these scenes (Pay rate $112.00 per filming day + a $30.00 bump for your wardrobe fitting):
*African American females, ages 18 – mid 20s, dress sizes 2, 4, 6, or 8. Must have a look that can match the 1905 time period (no hair highlights, no visible tattoos, no ear gauges, braces, gels, etc… hair & nails must be natural looking).
The fitting and filming will be in Rocky Point, N.C. (about 25 min outside of Wilmington), so we ask for locals the Wilmington/Rocky Point area.
