Channing Tatum reveals to the world the upcoming X-Men ‘Gambit’ movie release date on Twitter.
Channing Tatum is going to star in the upcoming Fox X-Men feature film, Gambit, and the actor has revealed the release date for the movie’s release in a recent tweet.

According to Channing Tatum, the new X-Men movie will be released on October 7, 2016 which means production for the Gambit movie should start later on this year.
The Foxcatcher actor recently tweeted, “How do you say October 7, 2016 in Cajun?” Fox Films has since confirmed this was in reference to the Gambit film.
Gambit is Marvel Comics’ card-throwing, kinetic energy-controlling son of Louisiana. It was only in 2014 that Tatum was revealed as the lead to a solo film based on the character, which Fox had initially dated for 2018. A script has been written by writer Josh Zetumer based on a treatment by X-Men writer Chris Claremont.

Fox also announced the release date for the Assassin’s Creed movie. The movie adaption for the video game Assassin’s Creed will be in theaters on December 21, 2016. However, Planet of the Apes fans are going to have to wait for several years before they get to see another sequel to the franchise as Fox pushed back the movie until July 2017.
