NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is Now Accepting Short Films

NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is looking for actors, screenwriters, producers and directors to showcase their talent!

Actors, writers, producers and directors here is your chance to showcase your talents. The 10th annaul NBCUniversal Short Film Festival is now open for entries as NBCUniversal is looking for the next generation of emerging talent. Submissions are now being accepted into four categories of short film, comedy, drama, horror and sci-fi.

NBCUniversal says submissions are encouraged for talent with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Entries must be between 2 to 20 minutes in length and the deadline to submit is May 1, 2015 at https://www.nbcushortsfest.com

The NBCUniversal Short Film Festival will culminate with semi-final screenings in New York on August 18-19, followed by a showcase and awards ceremony in Los Angeles on October 21 to honor the standout short films and artists. Talent will have an opportunity to screen their original work directly for film, network and cable executives, as well as managers, agents and other members of the entertainment industry.

Prizes for the winning artists range from an NBC talent holding deal for the Best Actor to a $60,000 camera package from Panavision for the Best Director. Select finalists may have the opportunity to air their short film on Hulu and other On Demand platform partners.

The NBCUniversal Short Film Festival’s collaborators include Bravo, Chiller, Comcast, E! Entertainment, Esquire Network, Fluency, Focus Features, The Hollywood Reporter, Hulu, Keldof, NBC Entertainment, Producers Guild of America, Oxygen, Panavision, SAG-AFTRA, SAGindie, Syfy, Telemundo, Universal Pictures, USA Network, Directors Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, Writers Guild of America – East, Writers Guild of America – West, Xfinity and Variety.
