Daniel Craig has surgery following an injury he suffered on the set of the upcoming James Bond movie.
Daniel Craig has had surgery on his knee a full two months after reportedly injuring himself during a fight scene for the next 007 movie, ‘Spectre’.
According to the BBC, a spokesperson for the James Bond production company confirmed the actor had a “minor procedure” in New York while on break in filming over Easter.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
“During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood,” the spokesperson said.
The 47-year-old sprained his knee while shooting at London’s Pinewood Studios in early February, prompting former Bond, the 87-year-old Roger Moore, to offer to “step in” via Twitter.
The new 007 franchise movie introduces a shadowy organization where Bond is forced to go up against.
