USA Network Cancels ‘Sirens After 2 Seasons

Date:

USA Network cancels ‘Sirens’ after only two seasons.

It’s official, USA Network has pulled the plug on ‘Sirens,’ after two seasons, according to reports.

The half-hour comedy series followed a group of EMTs in Chicago, and starred Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels, Kevin Bigley and Jessica McNamee.

Ultimately, the show did not have enough viewers to keep the show alive.

“While ‘Sirens’ had a very passionate fan base, it didn’t find a big enough audience to merit bringing it back for a third season — particularly when we do not own it,” a rep for USA Network tells Variety.

Without ‘Sirens’ that is one less production to film in Chicago, Illinois. However, Chicago’s film industry still has ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago P.D.,’ and the popular ‘Empire’ TV series.
