Walking Dead Creator’s Cinemax TV Series, ‘Outcast’ Now Hiring Crew in South Carolina.
The Walking Dead’s creator is heading to South Carolina. According to Wilmywoodnc.com, the creator of ‘The Walking Dead’, Robert Kirkman, is ramping up production to his new series, ‘Outcast’.
According to Deadline, ‘Outcast’ is the exorcism drama project from ‘The Walking Dead’ executive producer Robert Kirkman. Kirkman announced on Twitter about the new series and this will be Kirkman’s pilot writing debut.
Similar to The Walking Dead, Outcast is based on a comic written by Robert Kirkman and centers around Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now as an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it.
Filming is set to start July 20th and continue to until November. The Show is produced by David Alpert, Sue Naegle, and Chris Black and it will be written by The Walking Dead’s very own Robert Kirkman and Meg LeFauve.
‘Outcast’ also features Patrick Fugit, Philip Glenister, Gabriel Bateman, Reg E. Cathey (St. Vincent), Julia Crockett (The Absence), Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk Empire), Kip Pardue (Ray Donovan).
