5 Highest Paid Actors in Hollywood and Why They Deserve It

Date:

Want to know which actor getting paid the most in Hollywood? Here are the five highest paid actors in Hollywood and why movie studios decide to pay them so much money.

Recently, studios have been tightening their budgets and negotiating smaller upfront salaries and larger back end deals with major actors. The reason is to protect the studios from suffering from a major box office flop. That is why you see more reboots and spinoffs instead of original movie ideas, it is simply a safer bet.

Even though there has been a general shift in compensation for actors, there are still a select few actors whose box office numbers actually pay off.

Currently, there are six people in the so-called “$20 Million Club,” – actors who are paid $20 million upfront, and there are even more who are able to ask for $15 million. The reason some can get that kind of money is pretty clear, these are the biggest movie stars of the 21st century. They are the actors whose name alone can fill a movie theater. They are the people with millions of fans, followers, and cult followings.

Here are 5 actors who’s box office earns them the big bucks upfront.
