‘Miracles from Heaven’ Casting Call for Extras with Medical experience in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Heaven is For Real’ producers are now working on the latest Christian family movie, ‘Miracles from Heaven’.
The project is an adaptation ofThree Miracles From Heaven: A Sick Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and the Lives Forever Changed, an upcoming book byChristy Beam; Randy Brown, who wrote Clint Eastwood‘s Trouble With the Curve, is on board to write the script.
T.D. Jakes and Joe Roth, who produced Heaven Is for Real, are producing along with DeVon Franklin, the preacher and former Sony exec who is now a producer based on the studio’s Culver City lot. Franklin was instrumental in bringing in the book in proposal form, and the acquisition is a vote of confidence in the newly minted producer. [via]
According to the Christian Post, the movie is based on a true story about Christy Beam’s daughter who miraculously overcame a rare disorder that forced her to eat with tubes and carry colostomy bags instead of using regular bathrooms. After Beam’s daughter fell three stories, the book reveals the young girl visited heaven and was later cured of her rare condition.’
Tammy Smith Casting is looking for actors, models, and talent to work on the new movie, ‘Miracles from Heaven’. – Filming starts July 13 – Aug. 28th, in Atlanta and surrounding suburbs/outer areas of Atlanta. NOTE: The hospital scenes are for a day or 2, here and there throughout those dates. People will be booked in advance to allow for scheduling. Work dates will be determined as we get closer…
HOWEVER in the meantime, we need to do a presentation for the director to select many of these REAL EXPERIENCED people
– Pay rate for this will be “special ability”- $100 for 8 hrs with OT after that

TWO TYPES/GROUPS of KIDs:

Group 1: nice school kids, neighbors, friends of our lead family, etc… Think of a smaller, rural/suburban community in Texas – pleasant types, all-american looks, etc.. think “suburban”
-These kids will be Caucasian and Hispanic, mostly, but all ethnicities can apply.

Group 2: sick kids, for our hospital scenes we will make some kids look sick, but skinny kids or kids with real illnesses, etc… are ideal for this).
