High School Musical star arrested following a shootout with police.
Justin Martin, who appeared alongside Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in Disney’s wildly successful High School Musical 3, was allegedly involved in a shootout with law enforcement in Boston.
According to the Boston PD via TMZ, patrolling officers overheard shots fired and quickly made their way to the crime scene. They found the 21-year-old Martin and another individual. Martin and the other man were both armed, and they fled when the cops showed up.
The police pursued Martin and allegedly, Martin pointed his gun at them but didn’t shoot. The second suspect, however, allegedly did shoot at the cops.
According to US Weekly, police officers also exchanged fire with the suspects but no one was hurt. When they finally caught up with the two men, police found a loaded .22-caliber handgun from Martin and a loaded .25-caliber handgun from his accomplice.
In High School Musical 3, Martin played Donny Dion, one of the new Wildcats stirring up trouble for the old favorites from East High. Check out the video below for a quick reminder of his character.
