Job Description
An upcoming feature film production in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking highly skilled and versatile dancers and movement artists ages 18 and older for a professional film project. Job Responsibilities
- Perform choreographed dance and movement sequences for an upcoming feature film.
- Demonstrate strong body awareness, coordination, and physical expression during performances.
- Follow detailed movement direction, ranging from subtle physical adjustments to full-body dance sequences.
- Collaborate with choreographers, directors, and fellow performers to execute ensemble scenes.
- Participate in scheduled rehearsals and costume fittings before filming.
- Maintain consistency and precision in movement performances across multiple takes.
- Adapt to different dance styles and creative requirements throughout production.
- Participate in eight scheduled filming days and required preparation activities.
- Maintain professionalism, focus, and physical readiness throughout rehearsals and filming.
Requirements
- Dancers and movement artists must be 18 years old or older.
- Must be based in Dublin, Ireland.
- Open to performers from all dance styles and movement disciplines.
- Strong technical dance skills and versatility in physical performance.
- Excellent body awareness and ability to execute detailed movement direction.
- Experience performing in ensemble dance or movement productions.
- Ability to transition between subtle, nuanced movements and full-body choreography.
- Comfortable collaborating with choreographers, directors, and other performers.
- Must have good availability throughout the rehearsal, fitting, and filming period.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to follow creative direction.
- Previous experience in film, theater, professional dance, or movement-based productions is an advantage.
Compensation
