Job Description

A film screening and red carpet event in Calgary, Alberta is seeking one experienced videographer to capture professional footage throughout the event. Coverage will include red carpet arrivals, the director and cast, event highlights, guest interactions, candid moments, and general event activity. This is a paid, non-union opportunity for a videographer comfortable working independently in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Experience covering film premieres, red carpets, events, or similar productions is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Film red carpet arrivals and event highlights.
  • Capture footage of the director, cast, guests, and attendees.
  • Record guest interactions and behind-the-scenes candid moments.
  • Provide general video coverage throughout the event.
  • Follow production direction and event coverage requirements.
  • Operate professional video equipment throughout the assignment.

Requirements

  • Experienced videographer.
  • Film premiere, red carpet, entertainment, or event experience preferred.
  • Must have your own professional camera and production equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.

Compensation
