Junior Video Editor for Wedding Videography Company

Job Description

Frizzante Films is seeking a Junior Video Editor to support its growing wedding videography business in Naarm/Melbourne. This freelance opportunity is suited to an emerging editor who is confident working with wedding footage and wants consistent hands-on experience within a busy production workflow. The editor will assist with organizing and shaping footage into polished wedding films, working with both digital Canon footage and vintage Super 8 footage.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and cull raw wedding footage into usable selects.
• Edit long-form wedding films.
• Create dedicated edits for speeches, vows, and ceremonies.
• Work with digital Canon and vintage Super 8 footage.
• Collaborate with the company’s primary editor on post-production projects.

Requirements

• Competency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• DaVinci Resolve knowledge is a plus.
• Must be available at least one day per week.
• Must provide examples or references of previous editing work.
• Suitable for a junior or developing video editor.

Compensation

Paid freelance/contract role.
