An NYU student production is urgently seeking 1–2 Driving Production Assistants and 1–2 General Production Assistants for an experimental thesis short film filming between Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, California. The production is a continuation of an NYU student experimental thesis project and offers an opportunity for people looking to gain additional hands-on set experience. Driving PAs will assist with transportation from Los Angeles to Joshua Tree, while General PAs will provide broader production support during filming.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with general on-set production needs.
• Support production logistics and day-to-day operations.
• Driving PAs will assist with transportation between Los Angeles and Joshua Tree.
• Help the production team as directed throughout filming.

Requirements

• Seeking 1–2 Driving PAs and 1–2 General PAs.
• Driving PAs must have their own vehicle or be age 25+ for car rental purposes.
• General PAs may be considered with partial availability.

Compensation

Volunteer-basis PA positions with a stipend. Gas is compensated, and meals, housing, and transportation are provided.
