Job Description
Resilient Productions is casting actors for “El Tesoro del Cielo,” an upcoming Spanish-language, faith-based short film filming in Orlando, Florida. The production is seeking performers for three emotionally driven roles centered around family, compassion, and faith. Actors should be comfortable delivering natural, expressive performances and portraying emotionally meaningful moments through dialogue, facial expressions, and reactions.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray the assigned character authentically according to the script and director’s creative vision.
- Deliver dialogue naturally and fluently in Spanish.
- Perform emotional and dramatic scenes with believable reactions.
- Participate professionally in rehearsals, filming, and production activities as required.
- Collaborate effectively with the director, cast, and production team.
Requirements
- Must speak Spanish fluently and naturally.
- Elizabeth Morales: Female performer with a playing age of 30–40; should convey a loving, warm, devoted, educated, hardworking, and naturally elegant mother with a caring and approachable presence.
- Josué Morales: Male performer with a playing age of 30–40; should portray a loving, hardworking, devoted father who is kind, respectful, warm, and has a natural paternal presence.
- Special Character: Male performer with a playing age of 30–45; medium-to-long hair and fair skin, with a calm, warm, compassionate presence and the ability to maintain a peaceful spirit throughout the performance.
- Performers must be comfortable with emotional scenes and capable of communicating genuine emotion through facial expressions, eyes, and reactions.
- Selected applicants will receive audition sides and self-tape instructions.
Compensation
Non-paid passion project.
Talent will receive IMDb credit, meals on set, and footage for their acting reel.
