A non-union indie ensemble drama is casting actors for Love Wins, a faith-based feature set in Cincinnati, Ohio. The story follows three childhood friends raised in a close-knit Christian community as they navigate faith, love, family, and accountability while entering adulthood.
This is a clean, family-friendly production with no sexual content or nudity. While the project is unpaid, cast members will receive meals and IMDb credit, making it an excellent opportunity for actors looking to build their portfolio in an inspiring dramatic production.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a lead, supporting, or background role in a faith-based ensemble drama.
- Attend rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
- Work collaboratively with the director and fellow cast members.
- Deliver authentic performances in dramatic and emotional scenes.
- Maintain professionalism throughout production.
Requirements
- Multiple roles are available, including:
- Lead family roles portraying parents, adult children, and relatives.
- Pastor Stevens (Male, ages 50–60) – speaking role.
- Child performers for childhood scenes (ages approximately 4–9).
- Teen performers for teenage scenes.
- ICU medical staff including doctors and nurses.
- The Gossipers (three speaking roles) with strong comedic timing.
- Wedding Objector – featured speaking role.
- Wedding party and background extras, including junior bride, ring bearer, flower girl, bridesmaids, groomsmen, church congregation, restaurant patrons, and other featured extras.
- Videographer and Photographer featured roles.
- Open to performers of various ages and backgrounds, depending on the role.
- Some background roles require no prior acting experience.
