Fast 8, one of the biggest movies of are rumored to film in Atlanta, this year.

According to FanBolt.com, Fast 8 is rumored to film in Atlanta, Georgia in the next few months.

Following Paul Walker’s it was rumored that Universal would pull the plug on the billion dollar franchise. However, money speaks louder than words. ‘Furious 7′ has hit $1.15 billion at the worldwide box office, making it the number 7 on the highest-grossing films of all time. It’s likely to end up with more than $1.4 billion before any sales, merchandise, or any other by products of the feature film.

While the rest of Georgia is worried about the future of , movie producers are working on where they are going to film their next multi-million dollar . And Fast 8, the sequel to Furious 7, is going to film in the ATL.

In case you are wondering, the last seven Fast & Furious movies were set in Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo, Panama, Brazil, London, and Los Angeles again, so apparently the next stop for the Fast & Furious franchise is New York City. It was rumored that New York City was going to become the next filming location for the Fast & Furious movie. In fact, during an appearance on series star Vin Diesel revealed that the next movie, which is going to be directed by the of Straight Outta Compton F. Gary Gray, will take place in New York City.

However, suggest that the next Fast 8 movie will film in Atlanta. We will have to wait and see if producers actually decide to set up production in the peach state or if they will film elsewhere.
