Job Description
An independent short film production is seeking experienced and motivated crew members to join the team for an upcoming project in East London. This is a paid opportunity for film professionals looking to contribute their technical expertise to an independent production. Multiple crew positions are available across camera, sound, lighting, and data management departments.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth filming operations.
- Perform duties specific to the assigned crew position.
- Assist with production setup, execution, and wrap procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and work efficiently on set.
- Support the creative vision of the filmmakers through technical expertise.
- Follow production schedules and safety protocols.
Requirements
1st AC / Focus Puller
- Experience managing camera focus and supporting camera operations.
- Strong understanding of camera systems and on-set workflow.
DIT (Digital Imaging Technician)
- Experience handling media management, data backup, and workflow organization.
- Knowledge of digital cinema camera formats and file management.
Sound Recordist
- Experience capturing high-quality production audio.
- Ability to operate professional sound recording equipment.
Gaffer
- Experience with lighting design, setup, and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to work closely with the cinematography department.
Compensation Details
- £100 per day.
