A paid video campaign is casting real people with a meaningful connection to Yosemite. The production is seeking individuals and families with unforgettable memories, yearly traditions, or a long-standing history of returning to Yosemite over the years or decades. This real people casting opportunity is focused on authentic personal stories rather than acting experience. Selected participants will help showcase what makes Yosemite special through their stories and personal photos and videos collected throughout the years.

Job Responsibilities

  • Share an authentic personal or family story about Yosemite
  • Discuss meaningful memories, traditions, and experiences connected to Yosemite
  • Participate in a professionally produced video campaign
  • Share personal archival photos and videos that help illustrate your Yosemite story
  • Bring genuine personality and real-life experiences to the project
  • Work with the production team to authentically tell your story

Requirements

  • Must have a real and meaningful connection to Yosemite
  • Individuals and families with recurring Yosemite traditions are encouraged
  • Longtime visitors who have returned over multiple years or decades are encouraged
  • Must be comfortable sharing personal memories and experiences
  • Personal photos or footage from Yosemite trips are encouraged
  • Digital photos, prints, Polaroids, smartphone footage, camcorder recordings, and VHS footage are welcome
  • No acting experience required
  • Real people only
