Job Description
A production team based in Jacksonville, Florida is currently seeking a director for upcoming narrative feature film and short-form comedy projects. The primary focus includes two planned feature-length films scheduled for summer production, beginning with a romantic comedy expected to shoot across multiple locations.
In preparation for the feature productions, the team is also producing a series of short-form comedy projects designed to establish workflow, strengthen creative collaboration, and build production chemistry within the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct narrative feature film and short-form comedy productions
- Collaborate with producers, cast, and crew members throughout development and production
- Lead rehearsals and on-set creative execution
- Help establish workflow and creative direction for future productions
- Oversee storytelling, performance direction, and production coordination
Requirements
- Seeking collaborative, creative, and reliable directors
- Must be comfortable working in an indie production environment
- Experience directing narrative film or comedy content preferred
