Job Description
A new period film exploring the Japanese American perspective during the Pearl Harbor bombing is now seeking a Production Sound Mixer for an upcoming shoot in Los Angeles. The project is led by a director recently selected for Film Independent’s Project Involve, with a cinematographer recognized by ColorCreative’s Find Your People Program created by Issa Rae and Deniese Davis.
The production is looking for a collaborative and experienced sound professional to join a small cast and crew for this emotionally driven historical film project.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage on-set audio recording during production
- Operate and maintain sound recording equipment
- Capture high-quality dialogue and ambient sound
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure efficient audio workflow
- Provide sound kit equipment for filming
- Work closely with the director and cinematographer throughout production
Requirements
