There is also a marketing campaign targeting church groups and an outreach to the Hispanic community by casting co-star Eugenio Derbez.
According to TheWrap, Lionsgate is currently looking for Jennifer Lawrence’s replacement as the company is focused on creating blockbuster young adult franchise movies. It is important to keep in mind that the studio was also behind Twilight. The first two movies in The Divergent Series have earned $610 million and the finale Ascendant will come out in June next year. Allegiant this weekend added $22 million from across the world, lifting the international total to $53 million and the global earnings to $82 million.
