A production team is casting talent for an upcoming short film project to be shot on 35mm. This project centers around a chaotic family lunch, blending high European drama with comedic elements. Casting directors are seeking a diverse group of individuals, particularly those with Mediterranean (Greek and Italian) and/or Middle Eastern backgrounds, to bring authenticity and depth to the story. Both experienced and first-time actors are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray characters in a short film production
- Follow direction from the director and production team
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as required
- Collaborate with cast and crew to deliver authentic performances
- Maintain professionalism on set
Requirements
- Open to all genders and age groups
- Mediterranean (Greek/Italian) and/or Middle Eastern backgrounds preferred
- No prior acting experience required
- Ability to take direction and work in a collaborative environment
- Must be based in or able to work in Melbourne
