Johnny Depp pranks Disneyland visitors as the Mad Hatter.
Johnny Depp is one of the best actors in Hollywood. He has a history of transforming himself into a new and different character time and time again. One of his biggest roles was the Mad Hatter from Disney's Alice in Wonderland. He's reprising the role in the sequel, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Disney decided to do something special to promote the movie.
Disney dressed up Johnny Depp in the Mad Hatter costume and live-streamed him on billboards throughout the resort. The thing is, it was right alongside other static billboards, with it looking like a real movie poster. However, it wasn't a static poster at all, it was actually him. Those boards also had cameras installed in them and Depp could see the park-goers as they walked by and enjoyed the magical world of Disneyland. Johnny Depp did some hilarious things such as repeating their names, calling out to them as they passed. They even had bubbles pop out of the top when he sneezed.
