Job Description

A student production is casting actors for the upcoming horror/sci-fi series Odd Country. Production is seeking performers of all experience levels to take on roles in this genre-driven series.

This non-union project will film in Calgary, Alberta, and offers paid opportunities for selected cast members. Both in-person auditions and self-tape submissions will be accepted.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a character in the horror/sci-fi series Odd Country

• Attend audition (in-person or submit self-tape)

• Participate in scheduled filming dates

• Collaborate with director and production team

• Deliver strong, genre-appropriate performances

Roles

• Open to any race/ethnicity

• Open to any gender

• Ages 18–26

• Ages 40+

Requirements

• Submit headshot and resume

• Available for filming late March – early April 2026 (specific dates TBD)

• Must be able to attend in-person audition in Calgary, Alberta or submit a self-tape

• Non-union performers
