Job Description
An independent production team is staffing up for upcoming 2026 projects in Vancouver, including a music video and a narrative short film. The team is seeking experienced and collaborative crew members across multiple departments to support a low-budget independent production.

Honorarium will be provided per role, with meals, credit, and potential festival exposure included. The production is committed to uplifting underrepresented voices and prioritizes POC and queer creatives while remaining open to all applicants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the director and creative team to execute production vision

  • Fulfill department-specific duties throughout pre-production, production, and wrap

  • Maintain professionalism and strong communication on set

  • Support a safe, inclusive, and efficient working environment

  • Production Designer

  • 1st Assistant Director

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in the selected department preferred

  • Ability to work on an independent, low-budget production

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Submit resume or brief bio, portfolio/website/IMDb (if applicable), and role of interest

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively within a creative team environment.
  • Relevant experience for the selected crew position is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to contribute to a zero-budget independent production.
  • Availability for production activities in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Portfolio, reel, or previous experience is considered an asset where applicable.
