Celebs Pay Tribute to Those Killed in the Orlando Shooting

Hollywood’s biggest celebrities pay tribute to those killed in the Orlando shooting.

Omar Mateen is making international headlines after opening fire at a a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Mateen would kill 50 people and injured over 50 others. The Florida governor and and city of Orlando have declared states of emergency, as the FBI are considering the deadly incident a domestic terrorist attack.

But, Hollywood is paying tribute to those killed in the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting.

Orlando native and Backstreet Boys member Howie Dorough tweeted, “So sad to hear about the shootings this weekend in my hometown. My heart goes out w prayers to the victims, families, friends & community.”

Ellen DeGeneres simply tweeted, “Sobbing.”

Lady Gaga tweeted, “It’s a traumatizing & emotional time for a many people. I dream of the world reflecting on what we can do to change this violence. #Orlando” and “I pray for all the victims families ?? during this shooting epidemic. That their pain be met with compassion and support from the world.”
