A short independent film production is seeking Production Assistants (PAs) and Background Extras for an upcoming shoot in Duluth, Georgia. This project includes multiple scenes such as a football sequence, classroom environment, and teacher background roles. The production is looking for reliable, flexible individuals who are comfortable working on set in a collaborative, indie film environment. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and screen credit on a narrative short film.

Job Responsibilities

Production Assistants (PAs)

• Support the production team with general on-set tasks

• Assist with setup, breakdown, and crowd coordination

• Help maintain an organized and efficient set

• Run errands and provide assistance to various departments as needed

Background Extras

• Portray background characters in football, classroom, and teacher scenes

• Follow on-set direction and maintain continuity

• Arrive camera-ready with appropriate wardrobe based on scene needs

• Remain professional and attentive throughout filming

Requirements

• Open to all genders, ages, and ethnicities

• Ability to take direction and work well in a team setting

• Comfortable being on set for extended periods

• Willingness to dress appropriately for assigned scenes (athletic wear, classroom attire, or teacher-style wardrobe)

• Ability to work in cold outdoor conditions when required

• Prior experience is not required
