BBC Documentary Research Participants

Job Description
A BBC documentary team is conducting early-stage research conversations for an upcoming project focused on the experiences of girls and young women impacted by exploitation, coercion, control, and sexual violence. This opportunity is for confidential, off-the-record discussions to help shape the documentary in a sensitive and ethical way. There is no obligation to appear on camera or participate in future filming.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take part in a private, confidential research conversation with a documentary producer.

  • Share insights or lived experiences only to the level you feel comfortable.

  • Help inform how the documentary is approached to ensure respectful and ethical storytelling.

Requirements

  • Girls and young women who feel comfortable discussing experiences related to exploitation and accessing support.

  • Willingness to participate in an off-the-record conversation (research stage only).

  • Ability to communicate boundaries and opt out of any question or topic at any time.
