A short romantic comedy is seeking actors for an upcoming one-day film shoot in Provo, Utah. This lighthearted project centers around office dynamics, comedic tension, and character-driven interactions. While the project is unpaid, all actors will receive guaranteed footage for their reels, and lunch will be provided on set.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned characters with strong comedic timing and emotional clarity

• Collaborate with the director and cast to bring authentic chemistry to the scenes

• Participate fully during the scheduled shoot time

• Follow direction and maintain professionalism on set

Role Details

MARGARET – Female, 30s to 40s

A fiercely independent executive known for her perfectionism and need for control. She commands respect but struggles to let others in.

RICHARD – Male, late 20s to 30s

An ambitious assistant who isn’t intimidated by Margaret’s intensity. Energetic, eager, and unafraid to push back when needed.

MR. GILBERTSON – Male, 40s to 60s

A no-nonsense immigration officer who takes his duties extremely seriously. Stoic, rule-abiding, and confident in his authority.

Requirements

• Must be available for the full shoot

• Comfortable performing comedic and character-driven scenes

• Must submit a headshot when applying

• Open to actors seeking reel footage or experience

Compensation

• Unpaid, but includes:

  • Guaranteed reel footage

  • Lunch provided
