Now seeking UCLA singles to participate in a fun, high-energy social media dating experiment called “Extreme Cuffing Season.” This lively speed-dating event gives participants just two minutes to decide if they’ve met their perfect match — all while being literally handcuffed to another single!

Everything will be filmed for social media, so participants should come ready to bring their charm, humor, and big personality to the camera.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a filmed speed-dating experience on UCLA campus.

• Be open-minded, engaging, and ready to interact with fellow participants.

• Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude during the event.

• Follow event directions and safety protocols.

• Have fun while contributing to a viral social media experiment.

Requirements

• Must be single and currently a UCLA student or local resident.

• Comfortable being filmed and appearing on social media.

• Outgoing, energetic, and ready to engage in on-camera interactions.

• Must be available on the event date and time.

Job Description

A Richmond-based demo reel project is now casting talented actors for multiple scenes. This is a non-union, unpaid opportunity that provides craft services and valuable on-camera experience. The project will be publicly posted, making it a great opportunity for actors looking to build their demo reel and gain exposure.

Filming dates will be scheduled once the actor is cast to accommodate individual availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned characters authentically and with emotional depth.

• Memorize and deliver lines according to the script.

• Collaborate with the director and production team to develop character dynamics.

• Attend scheduled rehearsals and participate fully during filming.

• Maintain professionalism and punctuality on set.

Available Roles

Scene 1

• Mom (30–50): Black female; passive-aggressive, naïve, with an estranged relationship with her daughter.

Scene 2

• Drew (20–27): Any race; sweet, affectionate, and nurturing; plays the deceased boyfriend of the female lead.

• Amanda (18–25): Any race; considerate, kind, good listener, comforting; plays the best friend of the female lead.

Scene 3

• Bonnie (18–24): Any race; pushy, assertive, careless, emotional, and manipulative; plays the female lead’s younger adopted sister.

Requirements

• Open to both experienced and emerging actors.

• Must be available for scheduled filming in Richmond, VA.

• Ability to take direction and deliver emotionally engaging performances.

• Must be reliable, professional, and committed to the project.
