Job Responsibilities

  • Portray a 13-year-old Deaf character with authenticity and sensitivity

  • Communicate fluently in American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Collaborate closely with the director and cast to deliver an emotionally engaging performance

  • Participate in rehearsals and follow direction throughout production

Requirements

  • Female actor, fluent in ASL

  • Must be able to portray a 13-year-old character

  • No prior acting experience required

  • Character Description: Hannah – the youngest of sister-wives in a polygamous community; innocent, impressionable, and curious about the world beyond

Compensation
