Actors and Models Needed for Set Safety & Casting Etiquette Educational Series

Job Description
A new educational video series is casting talent for a project on set safety, audition etiquette, and industry red flags. This non-union production is designed to re-enact common casting-related dangers and industry misconduct for use in training programs. Roles involve simulated scenarios with sensitive subject matter but are strictly professional with full safety protocols in place, including an intimacy coordinator when necessary. All scenes are scripted and will not depict real-life events.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray various character scenarios reflecting real casting and industry issues

• Follow direction from the production team to ensure accurate and sensitive portrayal

• Participate in still photo, clip, or short scene shoots in controlled environments

• Collaborate with other cast members for ensemble scenes

Requirements

• Ages 14 to 65 depending on role

• Roles include but are not limited to:

  • Female-identifying actors in “weigh-in” style auditions (ages 14–40s)

  • Actors/models portraying sexual harassment scenarios (ages 18–40s)

  • Actors in hostile work settings (ages 14–65+)

  • Young actors navigating predatory casting (ages 14–18)

  • Casting directors involved in unethical scenarios (ages 25–65)

  • Actors portraying prostitutes or sex workers (ages 18–40s)

  • Actors portraying kidnapping or substance abuse survivors (ages 16–30s)

• Must be available to shoot in London or St. Thomas, Ontario

• Prior acting experience is a plus but not required

• Must be comfortable portraying intense or emotional scenes in a professional setting

Compensation

• $20/hour

• IMDb credits provided

• No travel stipend—talent must self-report to location
