Job Description
An exciting new production is seeking talented young musicians to portray high school students performing in a string quartet at a wedding. Selected performers will mime along to music on a track while appearing in the scene. This is a great opportunity for musicians to gain on-set experience and showcase their artistry in a film setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a young musician in a wedding scene as part of a string quartet

• Mime playing your instrument convincingly to pre-recorded music

• Arrive prepared and professional for filming and setup

• Follow direction from the production team to ensure smooth performance continuity

Requirements

• Male and female musicians, ages 18–25

• Must play violin, viola, or cello

• Must own your instrument

• Should be comfortable miming performance naturally on camera

• ACTRA and non-union talent may apply

• Must be available for filming in Toronto

Compensation

• Rate: $364.75 for 8 hours + $68.50/hour overtime

• Additional $40 provided for bringing your own instrument
