Job Description
A new feature film is seeking four male basketball player extras who can bring authentic energy and athleticism to the screen. This role may include some ad-libbed dialogue, offering a unique opportunity for talent to gain visibility in a story-driven project set in 1980s Texas. Ideal candidates should be able to pass as high school students with credible basketball skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as basketball players in high school gym scenes
- Participate in a brief rehearsal ahead of shoot dates
- Take direction and adapt quickly during filming
- Possibly deliver short improvised lines in character
Requirements
- Males who can pass as high school age (18+ preferred)
- Must possess at least high school-level basketball skills
- Acting experience is a plus but not required
Compensation
- $200 per day (pay equity model)
- Filming in Lockhart, TX with rehearsal and multiple shoot days
