Job Description: Freeman Casting Co. is hosting an open casting call for talented performers to participate in a Renaissance Fair event. We are looking for glass blowers, jugglers, fire breathers, and sword swallowers who can bring the vibrant and historical atmosphere of the Renaissance period to life. Performers will engage with attendees, demonstrating their skills and contributing to a dynamic and entertaining environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specific skills, such as glass blowing, juggling, fire breathing, or sword swallowing, in scheduled shows and as roaming entertainment.
- Interact with attendees in a manner consistent with the Renaissance theme, enhancing their experience.
- Maintain safety standards at all times, especially for performances involving risk (like fire breathing and sword swallowing).
- Participate in rehearsals and coordinate with event organizers to ensure smooth execution of performances.
Requirements:
- Aged 20 years or older.
- Skilled in one or more of the following areas: glass blowing, juggling, fire breathing, sword swallowing.
- Ability to wear and perform in Renaissance fair costumes (performers can bring their own costumes; rental options available for $35).
- Available to work between October 25 and November 5.
- Open to all ethnicities (Diversity Required: OPEN).
Compensation:
- $40.94 per hour.
