Open Casting Call for Deaf Girl – BBC Feature Film

Job Description: We are casting for a BBC Film feature written and directed by Deaf artist Louise Stern. The film will be shot in the UK and we are looking for a young Deaf girl to play one of the lead roles. This is a fantastic opportunity for a young Deaf actress, as no prior acting experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Play a lead role as a sparky, independent 7-11 year old Deaf girl of mixed Black/White heritage.
• Sign fluently throughout the role as part of the character’s communication in the film.
• Follow direction from the film’s director and production team to bring the character to life.
• Engage with the film’s story and perform confidently on set.

Requirements:

• Must be a Deaf girl, aged 7-11 years old, of mixed Black/White heritage.
• Must be able to sign fluently (in British Sign Language or another form of sign language).
• No previous acting experience is required.

Compensation:

• This is a paid role for the selected actress.

Casting Call: Identical Twins or Triplets for Feature Film

Job Description:

We are casting female identical twins or triplets, aged 1-3 years old, for a feature film. The selected talent will be featured in key scenes and must be comfortable being scanned for casting. This is a paid role, and no previous acting experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in filming for a feature film.
• Be comfortable being scanned for casting purposes.
• Follow the direction of the film crew to ensure a smooth shoot.
• Work with the production team in both London and Bulgaria locations.

Requirements:

• Gender: Female
• Age: 1-3 years old
• Ethnicity: Mixed ethnicity
• Talent: Must be identical twins or triplets.
• Must be UK-based, ideally located in London.
• No previous acting experience necessary, but must be comfortable on camera and in a filming environment.
