Are you up for some super-exciting news? Let's jump into the Marvel universe! Recently, the end of July has been a huge deal for Marvel junkies. Why, you may ask? Well, Marvel has shaken things up big time! Not only did the much-awaited emerge as a smashing success, but some major were also dropped at Marvel Studios' panel at Comic-Con.

Lo and Behold, Robert Downey Jr. Returns!

The juiciest tidbit that took everyone by surprise was the return of our beloved Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr.! But don't get your hopes up yet. He isn't back to play the charming, flashy billionaire Tony Stark. Instead, the hint is that he may reprise the role of the wicked Doctor Doom in an Avengers movie, Doomsday.

The Funneling Back to 2005!

Yes, we're going back to 2005, where it all started! In an uncovered chat between Marvel Kevin Feige and Jon Favreau, they shared some Marvel . They revealed that Robert Downey Jr. had discussions with Feige to become Doctor Doom in the 2005's Fantastic Four film. Feige, the producer of that movie, reminisced his first Marvel film, Iron Man, along with Farveau where Downey Jr.'s potential as Doctor Doom was first discussed.

Keep in mind that it was Downey Jr.'s charisma and sparkle that had them intrigued. Favreau stated, “He's got that spark in his eye and he's ready.” He knew that they had to figure out a way to incorporate his talent into Iron Man's franchise

Eventually, the character of Victor Von Doom was played by Julian McMahon. Back then, McMahon had his fame through the hit FX show Nip/Tuck. He played Doctor Doom against cast that had a star-studded lineup with Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, and Chris Evans.

Fantastic Four was a hit, it wasn't the adaptation that fans had hoped for. But the success of the film warranted a sequel that introduced new characters – The Silver Surfer and Galactus.

Talking about Galactus, he is about to make a grand appearance in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. If that wasn't enough, the infamous Doctor Doom may return soon too! Given his close connection with Marvel's first family, we might see him in a post-credits scene, linking him to Doomsday.

So brace yourselves, Marvel fans, because it seems like we have an exciting roller coaster ride ahead of us in Marvel's universe with potential returns and new revelations! Stay locked onto these updates and remember, the Marvel universe keeps surprising us, right when we least expect it!
