Job Description
Description: We are seeking special extras with interesting and unusual skills for an upcoming Florida Lottery commercial. This casting is for both speaking and non-speaking principal roles, as well as featured extras. Please ensure you can attend the in-person fitting on either August 12 or August 13 before submitting your application.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing Special Skills: Showcase your unique talents such as costume performing, stilt walking, martial arts, unicycling, juggling, or any interesting background activity typically seen at fairs, circuses, or festivals.
- Acting: Depending on the role, deliver lines for speaking roles or perform specific actions for non-speaking roles and featured extras.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional attitude on set, adhering to the shooting schedule and production requirements.
- Fitting: Attend an in-person fitting on August 12 or August 13.
Requirements
- Availability: Must be available for the fitting on August 12 or 13 and for the shoot days.
- Location: Must be local to Orlando, FL, or able to travel if booked from out of state.
Special Skills Needed
- Experienced life-size raccoon costume performer
- Experienced stilt walker
- Pink-haired woman in karate gi (having pink hair is a bonus; production can provide a temporary pink rinse)
- Cowboy (preferably someone with that vibe in their day-to-day life)
- Experienced unicyclist
- Experienced juggler
- Any interesting background activity typically seen at a fair, circus, festival, etc.
Roles and Compensation
- Speaking Principals:
- Rate: $1200
- Day Rate: $500/day
- Non-Speaking Principals:
- Rate: $1000
- Day Rate: $400/day
- Featured Extras:
- Rate: $300
- Day Rate: $300/day
Additional Provisions
- Travel / Fitting Rates: $250/day for those outside the Tampa / Orlando area.
- Flights: Provided for talent booked from out of state, for the shoot only.
- Down Day Rate: $250 for those outside the Tampa / Orlando area if only shooting on Day 2.
- Fitting Rate: $50 for those in Tampa.
