Game of Thrones filmed for nearly two months to film a battle scene
HBO has been ramping up production for the last and final season of Game of Thrones. According to a note posted on Instagram by assistant director Jonathan Quinlan, the cast and crew of Game of Thrones wrapped a 55 consecutive night shoot of a massive season eight battle. The recently removed post reveals that the shoot took place in three different locations and assures that fans are in for an amazing finale before the show is over. The season eight-fight took more than twice the amount of time it took to film previous seasons large-scale scenes.
