Job Details: We are currently seeking talented Mandarin Chinese-speaking Voice Over (VO) artists for an upcoming non-union video game production. This exciting opportunity is open to both male and female sounding talents who can portray characters across a wide age range from 12 to 80 years old. The project will be produced in New York, but we are open to national applicants who have the capability to record from a professional home studio setup.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide voice-over work for characters in the specified age and gender range, demonstrating the ability to convey a wide range of emotions and personalities.
- Collaborate with the creative team during live recording sessions, which may be conducted in-person for local talents or remotely via Zoom/FaceTime for those outside of New York.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure recordings are completed according to the project’s timeline and creative direction.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
- Possess a versatile voice capable of covering a wide range of characters, from 12 to 80 years old. Ability to perform multiple voices is a significant plus.
- Must have access to a professional home voice-over recording setup for high-quality audio production.
- Available for recording sessions scheduled between late March and the first week of April 2024. Exact dates will be coordinated based on the availability of the creative team and the performer.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Non-union talents only.
Compensation:
- Talents will be compensated at a rate of $113.64 per hour.
- A minimum of 3 hours booking is guaranteed, totaling a minimum compensation of $340.
