Character descriptions:
Male. 40s. Seeking talent who identify as LGBTQIA+. Before Julie, Alex was a carefree young dentist on the rise and a diehard Gaga fan. Then he held tiny precious Julie in his arms…and realized EVERYTHING COULD KILL HER. Where he was once over-analytical and meticulous…he’s since crossed over into being neurotic, hypochondriacal and overprotective. You’d think that’d be a pain in the butt for Julie to deal with – but she actually sees a lot of herself in her Baba, being so risk-averse herself. Alex knows he’s the “nerd” of the couple, his passion for DND does not out-glam his partner James’s charismatic drag queen persona. But he’s relieved because that means someone in the family can answer Julie’s questions about popularity. He’s overwhelmingly happy with his life and his little family, so long as they floss twice a day.

This crime/thriller story follows Michael as he becomes desperate to belong in Montreal’s criminal underworld, with the narrative told through the voice of a respected Québécois gangster, Jacques Dubois. The project is seeking a grounded performer who can carry a dramatic lead role in a short-form crime narrative.
