NOW CASTING REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL STORIES IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN!!
A new, neutral and non-biased, national news network is looking for people in Detroit, Flint, and the surrounding areas to share their real stories in a series of promotional commercials.
They are looking to shoot either the week of Sept 7th or 13th, 2021, in SE MI.
The rate is $1000 ($500 shoot session fee and $500 one year media buyout (may be $1000 if they do 2 years)) for the project.
Open to 18 and older, all ethnicities, all genders.
They are looking for stories of hope and positive change in the face of challenges, based around the core themes of: crime, infrastructure, jobs (AI/robots/economy), climate/environment, tech.
Some examples of the kinds of stories I’m looking for are:
- – A closed BBQ restaurant pitmaster finds a second act bringing their signature BBQ to the world from home.
- – A small business thrives when forced to get creative in the face of an ever changing world.
- – The survivors of gun violence (or their family) find hope in justice.
- – A teen from an under-resourced neighborhood is delivered to a university.
- – A social worker works with a homeless person to get them a job.
- – A prisoner Tastes freedom with their champion.
- – A shuttered video game arcade is resurrected. (Could also be movie theater or other entertainment business like a theme park.)

Murder and Merriment is urgently casting performers for an interactive Western-themed murder mystery production in Northern Virginia. The company is seeking two men and two women to complete the cast for an immersive live entertainment experience.
Actors will participate in a live interactive mystery event, engaging with audiences and portraying dynamic characters in a theatrical performance setting. This opportunity is ideal for performers with improvisation skills, stage presence, and experience in live entertainment.
Job Responsibilities
