Job Description:
The Kunsthaus Zürich, in collaboration with the Marina Abramović Institute, invites dynamic and dedicated performers to participate in the highly anticipated Marina Abramović retrospective. This is a unique opportunity for performance artists to engage directly with the themes and works of Marina Abramović, contributing to a major exhibition that explores the extensive career and artistic innovations of one of the most influential figures in performance art.
Responsibilities:

Participate in performances as directed, adhering to the concepts and artistic direction of Marina Abramović.

Engage with the public during performances, maintaining the integrity and intensity of the live art experience.

Attend all required rehearsals and preparation sessions prior to the exhibition opening.

Collaborate with exhibition organizers and other performers to ensure a cohesive and impactful visitor experience.

Adhere to all scheduled commitments, including performances, rehearsals, and workshops.
Requirements:

Proven experience in performance art or related disciplines (theater, dance, visual arts).

High physical and mental endurance to meet the demands of performance art.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Ability to follow direction and adapt to evolving artistic requirements.

Commitment to the full duration of the retrospective exhibition.

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
Compensation:
-
Hourly rate of CHF 28, inclusive of social insurances.

Guaranteed weekly lump sum of CHF 1400, leading to a monthly compensation of CHF 5600, inclusive of social insurances.

Compensation for all breaks and rehearsal times.

Additional payment for participation in workshops, including travel expenses and accommodation.
