Job Responsibilities:
- Portray Ana, a 16-25-year-old Mexican/Latina, who is bilingual (English and some Spanish), a budding activist, and the first U.S. citizen in her family.
- Deliver a strong, dynamic performance with a focus on Ana’s passionate, impulsive, and righteous nature, exploring her complex relationship with her family and her personal identity.
- Perform in various musical numbers, showcasing vocal range and acting abilities in a dynamic stage setting.
- Collaborate with the director, choreographer, and cast to bring the character of Ana to life on stage.
Requirements:
- Female-identifying actor, aged 16-25, of Mexican/Latina descent.
- Bilingual with proficiency in both English and some Spanish.
- Strong acting skills to portray Ana’s big-hearted, smart, and sometimes righteous personality.
- Strong singing ability with versatility: alto/mezzo with a wide vocal range, strong pop sensibility, and a solid rhythm. Should possess a strong pop belt but not musical theater lead-level power.
- Comfortable with portraying a curvy body type and confident in embracing the role’s physical and emotional depth.

Ensemble Members
Job Description: Ensemble members will portray various characters throughout the show, including pirates, indigenous tribal members from around the world, and the Lost Boys.

Casting Call: Apprentice for Casting Department
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our casting department for the winter/spring season. The ideal candidate will be immersed in the world of casting for musical theater, plays, film, television, and commercials. This is a hybrid role that will require both in-office and remote work in NYC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and organizing audition sessions.
- Maintain regular contact with actors, agents, managers, and other entertainment professionals.
- Answer phones and handle inquiries related to casting.
- Conduct research to support casting decisions.
- Work directly with Casting Directors, Associates, and Assistants to review agent submissions.
- Create lists and assist in the selection process for auditions.
- Provide support in and out of the audition room.
- Undertake additional responsibilities which may include script reading, talent scouting, and administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a casting office or agency is preferred.
- A strong understanding of musical theater, plays, film/television, commercials, and pop culture.
