‘Most Interesting Man’ Worked as an Extra on ‘Star Trek’

Date:

‘Most interesting man’ worked as a background extra on Star Trek.

Before making millions becoming the Dos Equis spokesman, “The Most Interesting Man in the World”, Jonathan Goldsmith, appeared in the second episode of the original Star Trek series, “The Corbomite Maneuver” working as a background extra.

According to reports, Goldsmith appeared as an unnamed crewman (under the stage name Jonathan Lippe). If you watch the episode, the man they identify as Goldsmith is right there, working in a corridor right after Kirk performs a few endurance tests in the sick bay.

It’s interesting to point out that a lot of A-list actors got their start as a background extra. Channing Tatum, Marilyn Monroe, Renee Zellweger, Jackie Chan, Matt Damon, and even Brad Pitt all worked as background extra.
