A network television series is casting featured background talent to appear as real chess players in an upcoming scene. This opportunity is seeking experienced chess players who can naturally play the game on camera and bring authentic character to the scene. Casting is focused on new faces only who have not worked on this series in any role this season. Filming will take place in the Atlanta, GA area as a local hire, and talent must be comfortable working outdoors.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a real chess player in a featured background scene

• Play chess naturally and accurately during filming

• Follow direction, hit marks, and maintain continuity across takes

• Remain professional, punctual, and set-ready throughout the workday

Requirements

• Real chess players (must know how to play regularly)

• Male talent, all ethnicities

• Seeking older talent with an interesting, authentic look (approximately ages 60–80)

• New faces only (must not have worked on this series this season)

• Must be a local hire able to work in the Atlanta, GA area (no travel provided)

• Comfortable filming outdoors

• No visible tattoos that can’t be covered (or must be able to cover them)

Compensation

• $168 for up to 12 hours (paid full day even if wrapped earlier)

• Overtime after 12 hours (if applicable)
