Arguably, Wyatt O'Brian Evans is the quintessential Renaissance man. Mr. Evans is a journalist, author, radio personality, voice-over (V/O) instructor/talent, and Intimate Partner Violence & Abuse (IPV/A) subject matter expert (SME)/advocate/motivational speaker. Wyatt earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in journalism and political science from George Washington University.
For over 25 years, Mr. Evans has been a journalist. Print and online media outlets, including the Advocate, Huffington Post, Washington Post, The Gay Male Journal, Baltimore Gay Life, Bilerico, Washington Blade, Kraven, and BaltimoreOUTloud, have featured his work. As a journalist and Intimate Partner Violence and Abuse (IPV/A) Subject Matter expert (SME)/speaker/survivor, Mr. Evans has researched, reported on, and written about this demoralizing, destructive, and potentially life-threatening cycle of abuse. He is the LGBTQ Community Chair of the National Trauma Education and Policy Institute (NTEPI), whose mission is to increase awareness about trauma's impact and consequences in all its forms and help shape policy.
